Jamie Black

President

Jamie Black is a proven, multi-faceted leader dedicated to safety, quality, cost, and schedule optimization with specializations in construction, turnaround, and maintenance project execution with over 30 years of industry experience.  Overseeing the topline business operations of the company, he relentlessly pursues winning safely and doing things right, protecting everyone’s interests – owners, customers, and employees.  He has a proven track record creating and attaining goals related to performance and growth.  He has led the operations strategy and implementation through multiple mergers and acquisitions with clarity of vision and a discipline of execution.  Jamie utilizes his operational and technical expertise in solving core customer issues and delivering tangible results.

Jeff Soileau

Executive Vice President and CFO

Jeff Soileau has over 12 years of experience in the energy sector, with roles of increasing responsibility in accounting and finance. He earned an MPA degree from Louisiana Tech University, before working in public accounting with EY in Houston, Texas.  Starting in the role of CFO, Jeff has progressed into the role of Executive Vice President and CFO to oversee not only the accounting and finance functions but the overall business operations of Baywater.

Thomas Talbot

Vice President, Operations

Thomas Talbot has worked in pipeline construction and maintenance his entire career. He began his career working in the field, learning all aspects of the business while increasing his roles of responsibility.  He has led multi-million dollar projects on land and in inland water environments. He holds an Associate of Manufacturing Technology, Drafting and Design from Fletcher Technical Community College and an Associate of Arts and Science in Safety Technology from Nicholls State University.

 

Ryne Malcolm

Director of Safety and Compliance

Ryne Malcolm joined Baywater in 2014 leading the Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives for the company.  Prior to Baywater, Mr. Malcolm began his career in the Maritime Industry managing highly advance offshore service vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, and internationally. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration and currently pursing an MBA at the University of South Carolina.
